It’s nice to meet you.

Born and raised in a rural, Northern corner of the United States I’ve always felt most at ease surrounded by nature and community.

But, I did the thing you’re supposed to do in your younger years. Went away to university, got a job in the city, commuted almost two hours a day, and found myself in a cycle of burnout. Until one day I decided to make a plan, start my own freelancing gig, and get a working holiday visa to live in a van in New Zealand for a year. Little did I know this would set my life on an entirely new trajectory.

I was lucky enough to build my business to sustain working remotely full-time back in 2018. After getting my 200-hour yoga teacher training certification I mixed in teaching at retreat centers around the globe. From South and Central America to Europe I spent time building relationships and understanding how different cultures think.

Come 2020, amidst a global pandemic I decided to settle again in my home of northern Michigan. Since then I’ve continued exploring the world and the way people perceived it from a variety of lenses.

In my spare time, you’ll find me on my yoga mat, exploring how to grow a variety of plants, enjoying nature, making bread and ferments, and scribbling in a journal.
